The National Archives of Australia and now updated their Digital information and records management capability matrix and recently announced the release of their beta Information management and data capabilities tool.
 
The Information management and data capabilities tool can be used by employees and their organisation to determine what skills and knowledge are needed to create and manage information and data effectively to meet business and accountability requirements.  The aim of the beta version is to help facilitate feedback on use ability, accessibility and content.   
 
The Archives continues to engage with professional bodies and Government agencies to finalise content around professional development activities, with specific focus on the 'next steps' component of the tool.
