CSU's IIM Award Winner
The Institute for Information Management (IIM) prize  was awarded this year to Mr. Trent Hennessey for achieving outstanding successes while completing the Information and Knowledge Management specialisation, with Distinction, as part of his Master degree.

In his usual work role, Trent is a senior librarian in Giblin Eunson library at the University of Melbourne, and specialises in providing expert guidance on company and industry resources, as well as support the learning, teaching and research needs of the Faculty of Business Economics and Melbourne Business School. The IIM prize Trent receives includes a cash award of $300, one year's individual membership to the Institute of Information Management, and an inscribed certificate.

About the School of Information Studies (SIS) @ Charles Sturt University: SIS is an established 30 years old institute; a global leader in the world of information and library studies (LIS); is the largest and now the only school amongst Australian universities devoted to LIS education and research.

The School currently has around 2,000 students enrolled in the Bachelors and Masters of Information Studies, the Master of Education (Teacher Librarianship) and other specialist courses. It also has fifteen full-time academic staff, teaching and researching in a wide range of LIS subfields, many adjunct and sessional staff, and a large cohort of PhD students.
