Tertiary Institutions
IIM not only provides personal networking opportunities via regular events organised within the State branches, but it also forges strong relationships with Tertirary Institutions offering under-graduate and post-graduate degrees in, or including, information management. Many Tertiary Institutions are Members of IIM and IIM provides Student Prizes to those schools.

The School of Information Studies at Charles Sturt University offers wide-ranging programs in Information Studies at all levels of award. From 2010, its main undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs will offer formal specialisations in Information and Knowledge Management, where students may choose from a raft of advanced subjects, after studying a set of general subjects in the core part of the program. To provide students with maximum flexibility, all of the School's courses and subjects are offered in distance/online mode.
