It is becoming increasingly clear that Taxonomies with no clear purpose will fail to deliver on value. However, more often than not, that very purpose has not been effectively communicated or understood. The reason? The taxonomy has not been aligned to the key business requirements and consequently it fails to address staff needs. Organisations now realise that the purpose of their taxonomy will vary depending on their respective business requirements and that if it is to succeed, there needs to be a clear and defined business strategy.
This event will examine the key/practical issues that organisations face when designing, implementing and maintaining their taxonomies. It will specifically focus on how to ensure that the purpose is understood and the user requirements are met.

As ECM systems become more complex, reaching across all company lines and changing how basic business functions are performed, how do you document the expected ROI? ECM is a complex set of technologies that requires some new and old thinking when trying to determine the ROI. This Webinar will look at the component parts of a typical ECM system and review what is needed to generate a credible ROI for each component. Included will be a discussion on hard dollar returns, soft dollar returns, simple value-added propositions and who should participate in formulating the ROI.
